In order to offset basic operating costs, including rental fees, insurance and uniforms, the RMSBO participates in a candy fundraiser each year.   Players in divisions t-ball through pony are required to participate, or pay the buyout fee of $75.00 in addition to the registration fee.

About our In-House Programs

Our programs are designed for ages 5-18 years old with any skill level.   We focus on teaching the fundamentals of the game and promoting good sportsmanship.

The RMSBO partners with other local park districts and organizations.  For levels above t-ball, minimal travel may be required to neighboring towns including Bloomingdale, Carol Stream.  In addition to the aforementioned towns, girls softball may also travel to Streamwood and Bartlett.

Fees include uniforms (hat, jersey, pants, socks), all practices and games.  Players must purchase their own mitts, rubber spikes and athletic protectors.  We strongly recommend that parents purchase helmets for their child.  Bats are optional.  Team managers will have extra bats and helmets on hand.

Practice and game times will vary based on field and scheduling availability.
